Single Shelf Industrial Storage Rack Extension Kit for DXST10000 Description Expand the storage possibilities of your 6-foot DEWALT storage rack with the DXST10000EXT Single Shelf Industrial Storage Rack Extension Kit. This rack extension features the same innovative details as the original 6-foot rack including dense wire grid shelving, safety straps with weld nuts, locking shelf pins, grid clips, and glass-filled nylon top caps. Like the storage racks themselves, this extension is made using heavy-duty steel and rugged glass fiber reinforced nylon. The uprights, straps, hardware, and crossbeams all feature a durable powder-coated finish that won't chip or fade like paint and, using the included stacking plates, the assembled unit adds an additional 2 feet of height and another shelf to the rack. The industrial grade metal wire grid deck secures to the crossbeams with metal clips and multiple support straps prevent warping and twisting allowing the shelf to easily support an evenly distributed 2,500 pounds of weight just like the existing DXST10000 shelves and it adjusts in the same 3-inch increments. If desired, the extension can also function as a short, 2-foot tall single shelf storage rack using the included glass-filled nylon feet to protect flooring and the uprights from damage.
